    The Start
    Starting from humble beginnings in 2010, KeyPay was born when Phil Bernie and Richard McLean decided to create a more accessible version of payroll utilising the capacity of the “cloud” to make payroll easier for all to access.

    The Founders
    In October 2011 KeyPay went to market with Paul Duran and Kristian Reynolds joining the founder group, with Webscale Pty Ltd becoming the intellectual owner of the KeyPay.

    The Market Fit
    The private beta ran for 12 months and we applied all the user feedback to deliver the workflows you still see in the product today.  Since public release on the 1st of July 2012 we have invested heavily in our people and product, allowing us to deliver a truly unique end to end people management and payroll compliance tool unrivalled in the market.

    Timesheets have arrived!
    One of the most requested features for KeyPay arrived! The team introduced timesheets to KeyPay to seamlessly integrate into the payrun.

    KeyPay launched its biggest feature for the AU market to date. That is, a powerful pay conditions (i.e. award interpretation) system.

    Australia ranks in the top 5 most complicated payroll systems in the world. KeyPay's award interpretation takes the headache out of manual interpretation, saving business countless hours and headaches.

    We have created a native iOS and Android app from the ground up, to give employees the traditional Employee Self Service functions with a sleek user experience on their smartphone.

    Employee Onboarding
    Employers can say goodbye to the paperwork associated with hiring new employees. Employee onboarding lets employers manage the onboarding process from start to finish right within KeyPay.
